Welcome, hello, and all that jazz

Capturing the 2024 total solar eclipse, without a single photo of the sun.

During my first semester of photography classes, with my film camera in hand, I wanted to capture: some of the day-to-day moments around the MIT campus and surrounding areas; interactions with some of my coworkers, fellow students, and friends; and architecture that surrounded me.

One of my first film photography assignments happened to coincide with a conference trip with my research group to Denver, Colorado. To get to grips with capturing photos on film, I took the opportunity to photograph the moments we spent together, travelling, chatting, and exploring the city.
